Michael Cruz

Director of Research & Mapping, Partner

Michael Cruz has been with United Commercial Realty (UCR) San Antonio since May of 2001, where he currently serves as the director of research/GIS analyst. In this role, Michael handles the design, production and editing of maps exhibiting information including demographics, property details and market highlights for existing and prospective clients. In October 2008 was unanimously voted in by the Board of Directors as a Partner of UCR.

Additionally, Michael develops and maintains databases and tables for mapping-related projects and is responsible for the acquisition, compilation and development of market research and information for commercial brokers and property managers.

Before joining UCR, Michael served as an environmental specialist for the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission in Austin, where he was responsible for state-wide GIS coverage.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with a concentration in Cartography/GIS from Southwest Texas State University.
