J. Michael Nagy

Managing Partner, UCR Urban

Michael Nagy brings with him 25 years of retail leasing experience having worked on everything from power centers to lifestyle and mixed-use, to enclosed super regional malls. He has been involved with ground-up project leasing as well as overseeing existing project leasing activities for a variety of institutional ownerships.

Michael has handled leasing responsibilities for notable projects such as Citrus Park Town Center (Tampa, FL), The Plaza at Brandon Town Center (Tampa, FL), Penn Square Mall (Oklahoma City, OK), Woodland Hills Mall (Tulsa, OK), The Streets at Southpoint (Durham, NC), North Star Mall (San Antonio, TX), the expansion of the Houston Galleria, Market Street - The Woodlands (Houston, TX), University Park Village (Ft. Worth, TX), and Watters Creek (Allen, TX).

He has worked hand-in-hand with developers and owners such as Madison Marquette, RED Development, Archon Group, Heitman, Prudential, Trademark Property Co., Miller Capital Advisors, and Gaylord Hotels.

The bulk of Michael's career was spent as a vice president of leasing with Urban Retail Properties having spent 13 years there. In 2002, Michael founded his own lifestyle and mixed-use leasing consulting firm, JMN Resources.

He joined UCR Urban as a partner in 2007.

Michael attended Temple University and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
