From the first day Darrell joined the Dallas office of United Commercial Realty, he has more than exceeded expectations. His award-winning performance overseeing many successful deals both on the tenant and landlord side has allowed him to become the youngest executive vice president and partner at UCR. His career highlights for tenant representation include Blockbuster, Starbucks, Bombay/Bombay Kids, Mi Cocina/Taco Diner, Omaha Steaks, Chipotle, Whataburger, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Red Robin Restaurants, Hest Fitness, Bravo Development Inc. (Brio Tuscan Grille and Bravo! Cucina Italiana), Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Shoe Pavilion, PGA Superstores, and Fed Ex/Kinko's. He has worked on project leasing for retail projects such as The Arbors on Preston Road, The Crossing, Preston Village, Granite Park, Lennox Center, IBP-Retail, The Village at Eldorado, Pinnacle Pointe, Village on the Parkway, and Waxahachie Town Center.

In 2001, Darrell was awarded the "Top Retail Leasing Broker of the Year" from the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. In 1998, he was named a "Top 30 Under 30 Young Entrepreneur" by the Dallas Business Journal and UCR has named him a "Top 10 Producer" every year since 1999 and Dallas’ Top Producer 2005 - 2007. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, The North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, The Real Estate Council, Associate Leadership Council (ALC).

Prior to joining UCR in 1995, Darrell received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Texas at Austin. A native Dallasite, Darrell enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and playing basketball.
