Michael Jersin returned to United Commercial Realty San Antonio (UCR) in early 2009. Prior to his re-joining UCR he served as Director of Retail Leasing and as a Principal for HPI Real Estate Services and Investments since October 2004. His responsibilities included the oversight of the day to day leasing activities of the approximate 4.0 million square feet of retail inventory owned or controlled by HPI Real Estate Services and Investments, as well as the management of his tenant representation accounts.

Jersin’s past experience includes his role as a Senior Vice President/Principal of the UCR San Antonio office where he handled approximately 2.5 million square feet of retail inventory, and the Tenant representation accounts which he exclusively represented. Projects which Jersin was a leader or an integral part in the marketing and lease-up of included The Forum at Olympia Parkway, La Plaza Del Norte Shopping Center, Huebner Oaks Shopping Center, the Colonies North Shopping Center, Exchange Plaza Shopping Center and many more.

Tenants whom Jersin exclusively represents in the San Antonio/south Texas market include Men’s Wearhouse, K & G Menswear, T-Mobile, Eyemaster’s, Panda Express, Lane Bryant, Catherine’s, Fashion Bug, Yankee Candle Co., Advance Auto Parts and many more tenants. During his tenure with HPI, Jersin finalized in excess of 160 sale or lease transactions. Jersin has been recognized by the San Antonio Business Journal as participating in the “2008 Best in Commercial Real Estate Retail Lease or Sale’’. During his years at UCR, Jersin has been instrumental in completing in excess of 500 lease, sale and/or disposition transactions with either the shopping centers which Jersin represented or the Tenants whom Jersin represented. Jersin was recognized as the Top Producer in the UCR San Antonio office in 2002 and 2003, and one of the top producers in 1999, 2000, and 2001. In 2010, ChainLinks awarded Jersin first place for top referrals in the nation. Additionally, Jersin was selected as the guest retail speaker at the San Antonio 2010 CCIM Symposium.

In addition to his contributions to UCR, Jersin also participates in the community. He is an active Board Member at the San Antonio Children’s Shelter and has been a coach in the McAllister Park Little League, YMCA Basketball Program, JCC Youth Basketball League and the Town and Country Little League. Jersin and his wife have been married for 13 years and have three children, Nicholas, Alexander and Ava.
