David English

Executive Vice President

David is an executive vice president for United Commercial Realty specializing in the sale of retail income property, commercial land and leasing.

In addition to completing investment sales transactions for some of the area’s top retail property owners, David has been instrumental in assembling valuable tracts of land for retail development. One of his most notable transactions included a land assemblage voted “Best New Retail Development in DFW.” Over the past few years, David has had the opportunity to have helped assemble and acquire sites on behalf of Davis-Moore Buick GMC Pontiac, McLarty Auto Group, Direct Development, Bass Pro Shops, the City of Garland, Rockwall Independent School District, The Stainback Organization and Costco, among others.

Prior to joining UCR, David was an executive vice president for Colliers International. For over 10 years at Colliers, David was one of the top producers in the office and consistently finished in the top rankings worldwide.

Prior to his work at Colliers, David served as vice president of Transwestern Property Company heading up the company’s retail services division. As a top producer at Transwestern, he tripled the size of the company’s third party management and leasing contracts in less than one year, made over 300 lease transactions totaling 1,000,000 square feet of neighborhood shop space and earned two consecutive nominations for Legendary Service.

During his 20+ year career, David has been involved in all phases of the business including project leasing, tenant representation, land and pad sales, income property sales and development.

David received a bachelor’s degree in finance with a real estate emphasis from Texas Tech University.
