Carter began his career in commercial real estate with the John T. Evans Company in 2002, handling a variety of project leasing and tenant representation accounts throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth. Since joining UCR in 2004, he has spearheaded the marketing efforts for more than a dozen properties, including existing developments, free-standing buildings and pad sales.
In addition to project leasing and sales, Carter represents a number of retail and restaurant tenants in their expansion for the D/FW area. He was responsible for bringing Houlihan's Restaurant & Bar back to the D/FW market and coordinates their expansion efforts for the state of Texas. Other tenants he works with include Smoothie Factory, Schlotzsky's Deli, Salata, J Black's Feel Good Lounge, Games Workshop and Relax the Back.
Carter received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. Away from the office, Carter serves on the board of The Children's Trust and enjoys sailing, skiing and traveling with his wife and two children.
