Margaret Kuhstoss

Director of Accounting

Margaret Kuhstoss joined the United Commercial Realty Management (UCRM) San Antonio team in January 2005 as director of accounting. In this role, Kuhstoss oversees a number of accounting duties including maintaining accurate records to enable timely tenant collections and low delinquencies by processing the accounts payable and receivable for managed properties, performing daily cash analysis of all accounts, compiling monthly reviews of financial statements and processing timely distributions to partners and/or owners, and assisting the director of property management in business development. Additionally, Kuhstoss is solely responsible for maintaining the books of UCRM.

Kuhstoss has specialized in accounting operations throughout her career, serving most recently as the director of operations for Wildwood Management Group where, in addition to managing the daily operations, she had direct supervision of the accounting department. Prior to being promoted to director of operations, Kuhstoss served as the accounting manager for Wildwood Management Group, where she completed the conversion of manual records to specialized property management software for 23 residential properties, bringing all transactions up-to-date. Additionally, Kuhstoss has represented World Savings and Loan as accountant; Tsakopulos, Brown, Schott and Anchors as staff accountant; and has held various governmental accounting positions both statewide and oversees while relocating throughout her husband's 20-year career in the United States Air Force.

In 1996, Kuhstoss completed her degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned a BBA in accounting.
