Oscar Montemayor

Director of Development Services

United Commercial Realty (UCR) San Antonio welcomed Oscar Montemayor in January 2001 as director of development services. He currently spends most of his time promoting and marketing UCR projects in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Texas. On any given day, Montemayor oversees the assemblage and acquisition for land usage. He also develops the site plan foundation for specific properties and coordinates the municipal review and approval for site annexation and zoning in public hearings. Although Montemayor has several clients and projects, he primarily supports Mike Gribble, senior vice president and principal of UCR San Antonio.

Montemayor began accruing his experience more than 24 years ago in the real estate industry. Throughout the years, Montemayor has improved the performance of properties by repositioning, renovating and expanding them in the market. He gained a strong background in analyzing the financial aspects of a project to secure its optimum value and to maximize cash flows. Montemayor gained international experience when he executed real estate strategies in Latin America.

Montemayor is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. In his spare time, Montemayor enjoys golf and traveling.

Montemayor earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University, a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master’s of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
