Life Time Fitness

United Commercial Realty began working with Life Time Fitness in 2000 by evaluating the Dallas/Fort Worth trade area for a multi-unit rollout for the company.

Life Time Fitness requires exceptionally large trade areas with high median household incomes, which proves to be challenging in large trade areas. Our GIS group had to pull literally hundreds of intersections of drive-time polygons in order to identify trade areas that met Life Time Fitness' criteria.

The first site identified was in Plano, Texas because it met the highest standard of the tenant's criteria when compared with any other market in the United States.

After opening the first center in 2003, UCR has assisted Life Time Fitness with site selection and due diligence to obtain property for eight other locations in the D/FW Metroplex and the company has subsequently opened six prototypical 108,000 square foot health and fitness facilities. And, at the company's direction, UCR also assisted in obtaining a non-prototypical health club facility - a former grocery anchored center. Where UCR worked to open 70,000 s.f. of space with a local development group.
