AT&T

United Commercial Realty (UCR) began assisting at&t; Corporate in 2001 with strategic site evaluation of the San Antonio and South Texas markets for a multi-unit rollout and a repositioning assignment for the companies core distribution facilities.

AT&T; wanted to achieve a fresh look and launch an “experience” concept for new at&t; stores that incorporated interactive displays, screens showcasing products and services, “Customer Experience Stations,” and touch screens for customer interaction with cutting-edge technology and services to attract customers of all ages.

UCR-San Antonio’s GIS department diligently reconciled hundreds of potential intersections, as well as identified trade areas with drive-time polygons, demographic polygons, and competition analysis in order to identify trade areas that qualified for at&t;’s multi-unit platform.

Since that time, UCR has helped at&t; open over 40 stores in the San Antonio and South Texas markets and they are continually looking for new qualified sites.
