Sport Clips, then a franchise brand in its infancy, wanted to expand into the DFW metroplex and had brought on Mark and Jan Mansfield in 1998 to be the area developers for the region.
Chas Williamson with UCR was chosen to assist the Mansfields in DFW with market planning and site selection.
Over the past 12 years, the account has stayed with UCR and been one of the most consistent accounts within the company. Chas and his successor on the account, J.D. Robertson, have completed a total of 75 deals for Sport Clips. The majority have been in DFW but along the way UCR expanded its reach as far east as Texarkana and as far west as El Paso – following the Mansfields as their territory grew.
